I graduated from Sacred Heart University where I played on the division one women’s lacrosse team. Prior to college, I attended Immaculate High School where I was a three sport athlete competing in field hockey, basketball and lacrosse. I played AAU, travel basketball, and club lacrosse in the off season. I received the Scholar Athlete award, Leadership award, All State, and All Conference. By the end of my senior year, I decided I wanted to continue my athletic career in college. I earned a walk-on position at the division one level. I played four years as an offensive midfielder and attacker. I was on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll during my senior year which awards student athletes who have received a GPA above 3.5 and are a significant reserve for their team. I loved every minute of being a college athlete and being able to receive my bachelors degree while also playing the sport I love with my best friends. I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Marketing, while also graduating with honors.
Previously I interned at Junior Golf Hub and worked at Yale in their athletic department. I’m so excited to be working at NCSA as a recruiting coordinator because I get to help student athletes achieve their dream of playing a collegiate sport. As a college athlete, you learn so much about the importance of leadership and many more skills that will help you in the future. I’m very passionate about sports and I want to be able to help families find the right fit for their student athlete in college. My four years as a college athlete taught me the importance of teamwork, dedication, and balancing both school and sports at a higher level. I encourage all young athletes to always find the drive and motivation to follow their dreams and continue playing at the collegiate level!
