I attended Missouri Baptist University on a full ride scholarship to play basketball. My first two years were solid and productive. My junior and senior year were great. I became a full time starter and lead Missouri Baptist to the tournament.
After college I was fortunate to continue my basketball career by signing my first professional contract to play overseas in Spain for 3 years. That experience was amazing. After Spain, I flew back to my home town Saint Louis, Missouri and I signed to play for a semi-pro team called the “Spirits”. This experience was also amazing. Last season was cut short due to Covid-19, but it looks like this upcoming season will be full go.
I chose NCSA because it represents family. The whole team at NCSA are dedicated to making sure they help each and every family, no matter the circumstances. That meant a lot to me. Growing up I didn’t have many opportunities to play at the next level, but after contacting NCSA as a high school student, they actually helped me get college coaches to contact me and that eventually lead to my scholarship offer from Missouri Baptist University. NCSA gave me opportunities that changed my life and thats something I wanted to be apart of. I want to help families and change lives and NCSA allows me to do that. It’s a true honor to be apart of this organization.
