Basketball, especially Women’s Basketball has always been a huge part of my life. I was blessed with the opportunity to continue my basketball journey at Guilford College in Greensboro, NC. During my time at Guilford as a player, I was the starting point guard, received Second Team All-Conference honors, was listed in the Quakers’ record book for steals & assists, and won back-to-back Conference Championships and two NCAA Tournament berths – the third and fourth tournament appearances in school history.
I graduated from Guilford College with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise & Sports Science and a minor in Psychology. In addition, I obtained my Masters of Arts in Sports Management from Wingate University. After receiving my degrees, I returned to my alma mater as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator. During my 3-year tenure, Guilford amassed a record of 61-17 as I helped lead the team to yet another ODAC Conference Championship and NCAA appearance.
I fell in love with coaching because of the impact and relationships I am able to have with my players and other Student-Athletes. As a result, these experiences made me want to stay as close to the game as possible so I can continue creating positive relationships with Student-Athletes while helping them achieve their personal goals on and off the court.
Working as a Women’s Basketball Recruiting Coach will afford me the opportunity to connect with Student-Athletes and their families while helping them through the recruiting process.
I reside in Charlotte, NC where I help coach 12U & 14U AAU girls basketball.
