I wholeheartedly believe that it is incredibly rewarding to have this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work for NCSA. This opportunity allows me to pursue my passion for connecting with families and continuing their official NCSA journey. My greatest desire is to support other parents through this competitive college recruiting stage. I am enthusiastic about being a voice for students with learning disabilities (dyslexia) as I am a parent advocate for Decoding Dyslexia – SC. I am bringing this experience, dedication, and commitment to NCSA, the students, and the parents that I encounter. I believe that knowledge is power and one of the most powerful things that I am bringing to the table is to be sharing my expertise, understanding, empathy, and overall ability to assist others in obtaining this valuable knowledge and insight.

I never thought baseball would be the sport I would fall in love with but seeing the passion my children have on the field makes learning and loving the sport easy. It began when my oldest son became mesmerized by the game while we were attending a minor league baseball game in Charleston, SC. It was amazing how quickly he caught onto what was happening on the field. My youngest seemingly followed in the steps of his older brother, fascinated by the game of baseball. In essence, we became a full-fledged, dedicated baseball family.

Early years found my husband and I coaching the T-Ball and Coach Pitch Little League baseball teams of our boys. It allowed me to learn so much about not only the fundamentals of the game but also the greater lessons that sports teach children in their everyday life. It was some of the most exciting times for our family. During my off time, I have spent time as a little league volunteer through Summerville and Irmo Little League. Currently, I am going through the process myself with my student-athlete and I cannot lie about loving every single moment of the journey.
