I was a multi-sport athlete in high school who went on to become a four-year collegiate golfer at Carthage College. I was the oldest in my family and unfamiliar with what the process entailed, so I can relate to a majority of the athletes and families we speak with at NCSA. Getting a chance to change my future through my athleticism is something I was very fortunate enough to have the ability to do. Throughout my experience at Carthage College, I was able to grow athletically, academically and personally while making lifelong connections and friendships, ultimately developing into who I am today. I am forever grateful for the experiences and credit my success today to the skills and abilities I learned throughout my collegiate career.
Knowing I can actively make an impact on student-athletes and families is the main reason I came to NCSA. My favorite part of working at NCSA is the environment and people. With hundreds of former college athletes and coaches aligned around similar interests, everyone is able to bring out the best in themselves and others day in and day out. The vision behind the company and the impact we have on student-athletes and their families is what truly makes this a dream job. Personally, in my experience with NCSA, I’ve helped more than 2,000 student-athletes change their lives by using their abilities to further their education. Five-plus years later, I am proud to be a part of the NCSA family, and I am looking forward to the connections, friendships and successes that lie ahead.
