I attended Olivet College, where I was a relief pitcher on the baseball team and studied Insurance/Risk Management with a minor in coaching. As a pitcher, I threw from a submarine/sidearm arm-slot which changed frequently over the course of my career.
I have always enjoyed coaching, and started when I was a senior in high school. After continuing coaching baseball throughout college, I realized that I had a real passion for helping athletes grow and realize their potential. I have coached travel baseball in the Grand Rapids, MI area for the last 5 years, ranging from 11u to 17u.
The most rewarding thing about working at NCSA for me is helping athletes realize their dreams of playing at the next level. I know what it takes to get to the college level, and know how fulfilling it is when you finally make it there. My goal is to help connect as many baseball players with college programs as possible, helping their years of hard work come to fruition.
