I was born in a small town called Searcy, Arkansas and raised in Bakersfield, California where I attended Stockdale High School. I was a four-year varsity member of the football team as the placekicker and punter. I was named Special Teams player of the year my senior season. I also received multiple other awards including: hit of the week, special teams player of the week, UnderArmour All-American, Super Prep All-Farwest, and Prep Star All-West.
From there I attended, the University of Southern California for four years where I was named to the All American Special Teams list, First Team Pac-12, and Finalist for the Lou Groza Award. I was fortunate enough to receive and accept a full ride scholarship when I won the USC special teams camps in 2009.
I left Southern California as the only individual to record the first points in Pac-12 History. Also, I was the second all time leading scorer in the program’s history right behind Lendale White. From there, I had multiple workout with NFL teams but was looking to sign my first professional contract with the Los Angeles Kiss of the Arena Football League. I competed in two seasons for the Kiss and recorded 55 points before the team folded.
Now, I am enjoying my career at NCSA, as I am able to provide guidance for student-athletes and their families. There is nothing more rewarding then helping a family go through the sports recruiting process and knowing I am making a positive impact on student-athletes’ futures.
