Originally, I’m from Winston-Salem, NC, but now reside in Greenville SC with my Fiancé and our goofy dog Beau. Formerly, I was Robot Programmer for John Deere, but I gave up my 9 to 5 job to pursue professional cycling. After a brief stint on a UCI professional cycling team racing throughout America, I saw a need for evidence-based nutrition among athletes. So, I decided to head back to school to study Nutrition and Dietetics at Appalachian State and then Lamar University. After College I was accepted as a Sports Nutrition Fellow at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. There I worked closely with men’s and women’s soccer, as well as football. After leaving Chicago, I moved to Virginia where I severed as the Director of Olympic Sports Nutrition at Liberty University, as well as LU’s Assistant Cycling Coach.
Now, I work with athletes locally in Greenville and work athletes of all sports across the country with IMG Academy +. My mission is to collaborate and empower athletes and parents to become educated, intuitive, and resilient with their nutrition so they can excel in sports and in life.
When I’m not helping athletes, you can find me road cycling, mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, in the gym, or cooking!
