My five years as a student-athlete at Seminole State College of Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University shaped who I am today. At Seminole State, I excelled both on the field and in the classroom, earning athletic recognition and academic honors, including spots on the Dean’s List and Honor Roll. Balancing sports with a rigorous academic schedule taught me discipline, time management, and perseverance.
Transferring to Florida Gulf Coast University for my final three years, I faced new challenges, but continued to thrive. Competing at a higher level pushed me to improve, while I maintained a strong academic standing and earned additional honors (2022 & 2023 Baseball News Third Team All-American Honoree, 2022 ABCA AII Region Second Team). I am proud of my achievements and grateful for the lessons learned during my time at both universities. These experiences taught me the value of hard work, teamwork, and leadership. After graduating from FGCU, I was fortunate enough to pursue my dream of a professional baseball career for 2 years (Pioneer Baseball League).
The lessons I learned as a student-athlete continue to guide me today, especially in my role as a Recruiting Coordinator at NCSA. What brings me the most joy in my job is seeing student-athletes achieve their goals of playing collegiate sports—just as I was able to achieve my dream. Connecting with families and guiding them through the recruiting process is incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in being a part of their journey toward success.
