Angus Walker '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 6-0, 190 pounds, and have played water polo for 8 years and have swum for 6 years. I currently have a 4.23 GPA. I lettered varsity for water polo and swim as a freshman and sophomore and currently hold 4 school records for swim team. I have partaken in multiple club teams such as Shores, Carlsbad, Talon, and Seawolves, along with a master's league. I have competed in multiple Junior Olympics for swim team with the Rancho San Dieguito Club team and have placed in the top three for relays and top eight for individual events multiple times. I have competed in division two swim CIF championship and consolation finals as a sophomore as well as consolation finals as a freshman. I am an Outstanding Academic All-American for the 2009-2010 academic year. I am an excellent team leader and am always the first in the pool and last to leave after making sure everything has been properly stored away. I encourage my teammates to be polite and have a positive attitude in all situations and to always display a christlike attitude even when losing. As a junior I am a varsity starter and varsity captain. I have always wanted to play collegiate level polo after my brother entered his senior year of high school and water polo. I am open to different schools in basically any state or area and would like to major in biomedical science or enter the medical field. I would like to play for a team where I can contribute as much as possible and if possible I would like to play at an extremely competitive level.
