My name is Deshawn Bryant, I am currently a Junior at the D.C.Everest High School in Schofield, Wisconsin and it's always been a dream of mine to compete at the collegiate level in track. I enjoy competing at higher levels and want to compete at my full potential. I have been on the varsity team for my school since freshman year and have competed at the state track meet every year since. I also have competed in the Badger State Games for the 100m and 200m dash and placed gold in both of those events in 2012,2013. I feel that I have always competed at a high level for my age because I've constantly raced older and experienced athletes in track in field. I enjoy challenges both on and off the track. I have been the anchor for my school's 4x100 and 4x200m relays and have been recognized as a leader for my team. My teachers have also recognized me as a positive role model and leader. I feel that I work hard to maintain good grades and enjoy the challenges of some of the college level courses offered in my school. I have also tutored other students in Spanish and enjoy helping others with academics. In addition I also have 3 college credits for Mandarin Chinese from the UWMC, I passed my AP exam in US History and have signed up to earn college credits through the UWGB for Spanish my senior year.
