I am a hard working student both in the classroom and on the track. I'm always looking for ways to improve myself and compete at the D1 or D2 level. My work ethic and commitment as well as athletic ability will take me far in the sport. I have no doubt I will make a great teammate. My sophomore season was cut short due to a bone tumor I had to get removed in my ankle. I needed surgery which sidelined me from competition for 4 months. This time helped me grow and mature as a teammate, finding ways to help the team rather than just running. Now coming off of my injury, I look to keep progressing towards times and distances that will earn myself a scholarship. Alongside my athletics, I excel in the classroom. I currently hold a 3.7 GPA out of 4, and am ranked in the top 10% of my class. I hope to become and Actuary or Accountant in the future. Please consider me to be apart of your team in the future.
