Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Robert Lutz, but you may call me Bobby!
I have participated in basketball, baseball, cross country and track. This past year, I realized that my passion is running. I have a great work ethic and continually strive to compete at the highest level. I am a coachable athlete and listen to my coach to do what is best for the success of my team. I will be a 2nd year captain and enjoy motivating and encouraging my teammates. I lead the summer running club in the morning to encourage incoming freshman and current runners to improve their endurance for the upcoming season. My goal for cross country and track my senior year is to qualify for state and improve on my times. Additionally, I take school seriously and maintain good grades.
Some other activities I am involved in are marching band, jazz ensemble and I volunteer and help coach my brother’s select baseball team.
I want to compete at the collegiate level and I am confident that I can contribute to a college program.
