I see myself as a worker. When I set my mind to something, I get it done. My current semester GPA of 4.25 while taking AP classes and other classes to earn college credit prove that I am committed in the classroom as well as on the track. I started Pole Vaulting my Freshman year, and I worked hard enough to improve and place 5th in the West Virginia State Track Meet as a Sophomore.
My High School goals are to become a two time West Virginia State Champion for Pole Vaulting, to break the Winfield High School record of 14 feet 7 inches, and to receive the promise scholarship as well as be inducted into the National Honor Society. I am also working to become a West Virginia State Champion for Wrestling.
I am an all around athlete. I played Football when I was 8 up through my Sophomore year when I decided that I needed more time to focus on Pole Vaulting. I have wrestled since I was 3 years old; being coached by my dad, I find it easy to learn new things quickly. I have played baseball since I was 8 until my Freshman year when I found my love for Pole Vaulting. I am truly committed to this sport, and I still have so much potential to increase my performance since I have only been involved for two years.
