Si Cave '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Si Cave, I'm currently 5'11'' and 157 pounds. I have been on the North Thurston Varsity Track Team for three consecutive years, and placed at State in two events this past year; the 110m High Hurdles (4th) and the 300m Hurdles (8th).

I have dedicated a lot of my school time in to leadership positions throughout my high school career, serving as the Washington State President of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and ran a campaign for National FBLA President last June. My main interests have always been athletics. Ideally, I see myself at a competitive Division I or II college, where I can make a contribution in track and field. I have adopted and now maintain a strict, healthy diet regime and have witnessed marked improvement in my weight training and endurance. Academics are important to me, as I have maintained a 3.88 GPA with Advance Placement and Honors classes. I hope to obtain an undergraduate degree in biology and pursue an advanced degree in medicine. I'm open to new experiences and ideas about athletic training, competition and personal health and look forward to a rewarding college experience.
