Alex Davenport '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alex Davenport. I attend Patrick Henry High School in Emory, Virginia. My goal is to compete at the best collegiate level I possibly can. I am a hard worker not only on the track, but also in the classroom. I know that academics are the number one priority and I reflect that with my GPA. I started running track when I was in 6th grade and fell in love with the sport. I enjoy the competitiveness of every race, which motivates me to improve each time I step onto the track. In my sophomore year, I accomplished the highest honor possible at the 1A level by winning a State championship in the 110 meter hurdles. I hope to carry my success into my college journey and look forward to showcasing my skills at the collegiate level.
