Dylan McGee '17 Recruiting Profile

First and foremost I am a God fearing man and was preached during my entire up bringing that college was a must. I've always had the grades (4.026 GPA) but here recently I have discovered my ability to jump. I picked up long jump a little over a month ago and ventured into triple about 3 weeks ago. And in long have already recorded a 22 foot jump and won Regionals.  Did not advance in triple but after only two meets I have recorded a 43.4 jump. As of right now I am getting by off of pure athleticism, my form (in both events) needs much tuning and work but work ethic has never been a problem. I am praying to further my education and jump at the collegiate level, in the short amount of time I have had jumping I have fallen in love with the process whether it is the daily grind and taking care of my body and practicing, or its my final jump of the competition and first place is inches away. I love to compete and I love perfecting my craft!
