My goals for college are centered around the term "student-athlete." As a student, I am desiring a degree in accounting, to become a CPA, and then to pursue a job in that field and/or start my own firm. As an athlete, I desire to become the best that I can be at my event(s) to better myself and to be a benefit to my team. In order to obtain both of these, I will give my best in the classroom and on the track, committing myself to my team and my goals.
What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a good teammate and a team player. My focus is not just on myself. I want to become the best I can be, which means that I must be coach-able and teachable. I am willing to do what I must do to become an integral part of the team that I am on. I believe that is done by listening to my coaches, and working with fellow athletes to become the best team we can be!
In all that I do I am committed to do the best that I can! I am committed to being a man that would honor God in every relationship. I am committed to being the best athlete and teammate that I can be. I am committed to be diligent in my studies, and obtain the degree that I am seeking. My resolve to do what I have committed to do is what has defined my life, and will continue as I enter into college.
