Derick Williams '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Derick Williams and I am an 400, 800, and 1600 meter runner from Missouri City Texas. I am a really hard worker and the true definition of a "Race Horse". I am the type of person that is really good at proving others wrong so if you tell me I don’t have the ability to do something I will do my very best to prove you otherwise. Here are some of my accomplishments in my Track Career.

2012 School Track:

2nd Place in the Fbisd District 5A meet in the 800 with the time of 2:05.31

2nd Place in the Fbisd District 5A meet in the 1600 with the time of 4:50.44

2012 Summer Track

1st Place in the USA Youth Nationals meet in the 4x8 my split was a 2:01:21 unofficial

Pr'd in the 2012 Junior Olympics in the 1500 with a time of 4:25:21

This summer I plan of dropping my time in the 800 to at least 1:57 or better, also dropping my 400 time to at least 51 or better

I feel like i would be a great fit for your college because I am really coachable and i improve at my craft every day, i have dreams to run professionally and I have no doubt that I can do it.
