Alec Hanshaw '16 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a 2 time AAU All-American. I have been running track and field since I was 11 and each time I step foot on a track I stride to do my best day in and day out to reach my full potential. I run year round. ( cross country in fall, indoor track in the winter, school track late winter-spring and summer track late spring- August). It is an honor to represent Mansfield high school and Legendary Track Club on and off the track. I have a internship at an elementary, I go there Tuesady-Friday (11:45am-1:45pm). I am very involved with my school track team and my club team. I volunteer at St.Johns and First United Methodist Church (were I am a current member). I took the SAT in October and Scored a 1180 (9 on the essay). I plan on re-taking the SAT in January and multiple times my senior year. I also plan on taking the ACT. I take my sports serious and my academics as well.
