My name is Jacob Marlow and I am a Senior at Katy High School. I have been doing track/ high jump since seventh grade and have loved it ever since. I also played football from first grade up to my sophomore year. My Junior year I decided to take a break from playing football and focus on my academics and training for track. I have been on varsity track since I was a freshman. During my sophomore year I made it to UIL Region 3-6A regionals and placed fifth in high jump with a height of 6'4. In April 2016 I made it to the UIL 6A district 19 for 100 m run and high jump.I have always loved competing in every sport I have played. I believe in hard work and that it can take you very far, that is why I try to put my all in every thing I do. All the hard work doesn't just stay on the track, it also is put into my class work. Some things that I do out of school are that I am involved in Young Life, a local Christian youth group and GAC (Great Adventure Camp) as a leadership in training . Although I am committed to my training for Track , I love to have a fun time with my friends and hangout with my family.
When it comes to college I would love to go to a school that will help me succeed not only in track but with my career. I am open to different types of schools, and any chance I have I will always try my best to act on it. I would like to go to a school with a great atmosphere where I can find balance between the class and the track.
