Danny Leland '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Danny Leland. I am entering my senior year at Highland Park High School in Dallas Texas. I run Cross Country and Track and Field. I have been on varsity all three years of my high school career. I was named the 2013 Highland Park Track and Field men's Varsity MVP as only a Sophomore. I have competed at state in cross country with my team finishing fourth and was all District 10 4A my sophomore and most recent junior years. I am the 2014 District 10 and Area 9-10 4A champion in the 400 as well as District 10 and Area 9-10 4A runner up in the 800. I was a finalist at Region 2 4A in 2013 and 2014 in the 400 as well as having finished third and receiving a bronze at Region 2 4A in the 800. I mostly want to find a school that will well suit me academically. While it is a goal to be a student athlete at a national level university, I want to find a university where I can find myself receiving the best education I can to help me land a stable career once I graduate.
