Personal Statement
Good Afternoon Coaches,
My name is Matt Melendy, and I am a senior at Summit High School in Spring Hill, Tennessee. I am writing to you because I am interested in being a part of your Track and Field team at your school/college. I participate in Track and Field at my high school, and my specialty is the high jump and long jump. My high jump is 6'0 and my long jump is 19 ft 4 inches. This will be my 3rd year doing being a part of the track and field team for my school, and I trained myself how to jump at first. Now, I have a coach that helps me and directs me in the right direction and helps me with my form. I'm very dedicated and give my best in everything I do. I give 110% to whatever I do no matter what. One thing that stands out about me from different recruits is that I'm passionate about everything I do from animal rescue to school to track and field.Athletics
