I only started running 5 months ago (July 2015) and I was successful to help my team to a 4th place state finish and I was able to achieve All-State honors, finishing 6th in the Tennessee State Cross Country Championship. I have been swimming competitively since 2010 as well, which I feel helped me. I am going to run indoor and outdoor track this season as well. I enjoy being part of a team and working toward achieving our goals, pushing myself and encouraging my team mates to do the same. I want to attend a school to achieve my educational goals and compete on a team and contribute to the team attaining its goals as well and adding value to the program. I believe hard work is the key to strong grades and athletic performance, and I lead by example in both cases.
