Personal Statement

There are several fields of study that interest me, and I want to attend a school where I can explore them while I specialize my interests. While I challenge myself academically, I want to excel as a runner. My hope is to dedicate myself not only to a team that will make me better, but to a team that I can make better. I believe that my academic and athletic achievements through high school have made me a great candidate for your program.

ActivitiesAt school, I am involved in Student Council ( I was recently elected Student Body President), Interact (Rotary), Latin Club, Spanish Club, and Academic Team. Outside of school I work for the Columbia Soccer Association, and I teach at a local swim lesson camp for children. I am also actively involved in the Zion Presbyterian Church youth group. I attended 2016 Tennessee Boys State.
