Elbert Whitehead II '16 Recruiting Profile

I have an interest in Fashion Design and Textile Engineering. My ultimate goal is to one day have my own clothing line. I enjoy creating designs that are unique to the person. I have multiples skills and I like variety. I enjoy meeting people and learning from those that have gone before me. I don't believe in impossible, I believe in hard work. I am a team player but I won't hesitate to step up as a leader. I feel that to have a good team, you have to have a good bond with your team members.  You have to believe in your team mate maybe even more than he does in himself.  I like to bring the best out of my team mates, my brothers. I am very competitive, I do not like to lose, but losing doesn't discourage me it makes me angry enough to do something about it. I bring a different flare where ever I go, I am very one of a kind. I am very athletic, I have excelled in several other sports; I was captain of the football team and played every position on the field from the line to a halfback, I also wrestled for three years going undefeated one year and also served as a captain. I still enjoy other sports and I am often asked to play other sports by other coaches. I just decided the dirt fields of cross-country and the rubber of the track is where I would rather be.
