Hi, I am Coy Brown and my aspirations is to run Track in college and to be a successful athlete for a positive representation of that college. My number one goal is to compete at the Division 1 level and to improve every year. I am a leader and when I see my teammates make mistakes I help them with techniques I have learned through out my Varsity experience. I am a hard-worker and my motor during practice is always going and I always ask for advice on how to become a better all-around runner and leader on and off the track. My character as an individual is to be respectful to all coaching staff and my teammates at all times. Honesty is a big quality of mine that I take to heart and I am always honest to myself and my coaching staff of what I can do and what I can't do for the team. I take my approach of what I can do by using my confidence as my motivation to do well. In my athletics I am what any coach is looking for, I am a 3x State participant, I am a 3x Regional participant, and 3 time Conference participant, and I have participated in many invitationals for Relays and Individual events. I am steadily improving year by year and I am known to be a great leader and successful runner through my High school career. Academically I take my studies very seriously. I am part of the I.B program at my school and I gave been in the I.B program ever since middle school. I have maintained above a 3.0 GPA each year in high school and as I enter my last year in high school I look to bump GPA to at least a 3.5. I am bright academically and athletically and my goal is to show my talent and capabilities to college coaches to be worthy of attention.
