Ricky Milks '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Ricky Milks. I am a senior at Mayfield High School in Las Cruces, NM. I currently have a 3.65 GPA and am ranked in the top ten percent of my class.  I am 5'5",  one hundred and sixty pounds. Last year as a junior I finished third in the state in the open one hundred, and fourth in the state in the open two hundred. My most important accomplishments in addition to those awards in the state track meet  are winning the state championship in football as a running back, and becoming student body vice president. What I can offer to a team is a hardworking mentallity and leadership. I was team captain for two years and still have my senior year to go.  I would prefer a college that has a lot of tradition along with a good criminal justice program. As for geographic location goes i would prefer a warm dry climate. The type of school I am looking for is a college with great school spirit and  a good academic prestige. I am depending on both academic and athletic scholarships. My desired major is criminal justice. My realaistic goal as a freshman would be to get as much experience as possible by learning from the upper classmen and make an impact on the team.
