I love track and have a strong desire to continue running post HS. I overcame an extreme injury involving breaking both my legs in my freshman year and worked hard to make it back by winter track season. I continued to improve through last spring season(soph year) but wasn't fully recovered. My 100m was an 11.98, my 200m a 24.98, and my 400m a 60.13. This year I substantially reduced my times starting in Winter and continuing into Spring making it to Group Championships in 3 events, almost 4. I am now recovered fully and getting progressively faster and stronger. This year, my 100m was 11.27, my 200m was 22.73, and my 400m was 51.54. I still have the ability and room to improve further and I am looking forward to seeing what I can accomplish my senior year.
My track team is like my family. I have a strong bond with them and we work very hard together with a great sense of comradery. I am very coachable, and have a great relationship with my coaches. I look to continue that in college to cheer on my teammates and also compete at the highest level I possibly can.
