My dream is to one day run in the Olympics for America. I will train and work hard everyday in order to achieve this goal. I started running track in the 4th grade and didn't really know what to expect. During this season I advanced to the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals and placed in the top 20 for the 100m and 400m. Since then, I've continued to run track and have advanced every year to the Junior Olympic Nationals either in an individual or relay event. Another one of my goals is to enroll in a Division I college on a track scholarship and compete with other nationally ranked teams.
During my freshman year in high school, I was good enough to earn a spot on the varsity 4 x 400m relay team and also competed in the open 400m. Since my 400m time from 8th to 9th grade had really improved, I'm hopeful that I will continue to do well throughout my high school years. This year, I've set my goals on making it to the finals in the 400m and earning a medal either at the USATF Junior Olympic Nationals or AAU Nationals.
I haven't decided what I want to study in college yet, but hope to take many classes involving business. I'm taking an introductory business class right now and would like to learn more about it. My interests in school are math and science. I'm in all honors classes right now and continue to do my best to maintain good grades in these classes.
