I am a 6'2" senior high jumper and triple jumper from Montgomery, NJ. In the past two years, I have increased my PR from 5'10" to 6'6" in the high jump and began triple jumping in the spring with a PR of 42'9. In the winter, I was named Somerset County champion in the high jump and am the current record holder at 6'2". I was also named Somerset County champion in the spring and Skyland Conference champion in the winter. I placed 5th in the NJ Meet of Champions with a high jump of 6'6".
I understand that I have started the recruiting process late, however I am just as eager to compete in college Track and Field as any other recruit. I have a 26 ACT score and plan to take the assessment again.
I am looking for a college with a strong social sciences program, as I plan to obtain a degree in psychology, and a competitive Track and Field atmosphere. Ideally, I would like to attend a school on or near the east coast. Financial assistance is a relatively important factor in my college selection process.
