Javier Marte '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Javier Marte i come from Hasbrouck Heights NJ. I am currently a senior. I am short distance sprinter but can also run the 400. I hope to become one of the best athletes once i get into college. This is a dream that started ever since i was in high school. I use to wake up every morning in the summer and train for hours to become one of the best athletes in high school and i want to do the same in college. I have a great work ethic. I will do what ever it take to get me to the next level. I will try to compete against the person that i'm with and if i don't i am usually competing against myself. What makes me different then most athletes is that i don't give up. I have so much work ethic that i'm constantly reminded to slow down.I run a 6.6 making me one of the top runners in the state for the 55. I am one of the most hard working students in the class room. last year i finished with a 3.8 GPA!. I am constantly working and one day i hope to keep working at the next level!
