I like to work and to be pushed past my mental blocks. I enjoy working hard on the track and cross country course. The hardest practices are usually the funnest in my book. I really love to run and would do it even if I didn't run in college. Running keeps me sane and balanced; which my mother always tells me. I made the Varsity Cross Country team as a freshman, which I'm very proud. I'm really excited to find out how the season unfolds for me. I've been waiting to have a coach that can really push me to my full potential and I think I have it in both my High School Coach and my Track Club Coaches. I believe I'm a true middle distance runner. I enjoy everything from the 400m -3200M. I think my best events right now are the 1500M & 800M. I've got some goals this freshman year. My first goal to go under 2 minutes in the 800 in outdoor track. I'm so close to going under 2 minutes, and if I have any say about the situation ...this goal is getting crossed off my list this year. My target time 1:57. I also want to master the art of racing. I've been learn some hard lessons as a freshman and I am learning to use those lessons and apply the wisdom to get better.
