Hi my name is Lloyd (Alex) Flores and Iv'e been an athlete all my life. I am 5'6 and 130lbs with a background in martial arts and have been running since middle school. I was originally a 100m and 200m sprinter and steadily rose to 400m and finally 800m my junior year. Strangely enough, the 800m became my main event. After running the event for a short time, I broke the school record from 1:59.6 to 1:56.6 after this only being my 4th time in the 800m. I am able to do every sprint event with the same ferocity as my main 800m and have been known as the "switch" player on the team. I have always been a hard worker and steadfast to achieve my goals. I strive to do my best and never put the blame on anyone else except for me, using any mistake or defeat as a source of energy to push me further towards my goals. I try to push myself and my teammates to their very best to make myself and them the greatest athletes we can be. I am planning on joining ROTC army while im in college which is a large part of my life as my goal is to become a officer in the army. I am a capable and versatile athlete that will be able to do both ROTC and track. I will had great possibilities to any team I am on and hope for the best.
