Thomas Hawkins '14 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Thomas Hawkins and I am a Senior at Lee's Summit North High School.  The 200 m and 400 m times listed are of my sophomore season.  I also have relay experience.  I am the 4th leg on the relay of my profile video.  I was also captain of my high school team.  I am currently a manager for the girls volleyball team.  I am also a Lee's Summit North Ambassador.

 I have competed at the AAU level for five years.  Competing at that level at a young age gave me strong training ethics and understanding that nothing worth having comes easy.  Every time I brought home a gold, I felt that my dream of representing my country at the Olympics really is possible with the right training.

My goal of receiving a college education will put me on the path of owning a successful business. I realize that my goals and dreams won't be easy but I believe in Philippians 4:13.   I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.
