Personal Statement
My name is james chelman, but people call me "Jac." I'm a Junior and have ran at Glencoe Silver Lake for four years now, and I have accomplished many goals. I've been on Varsity cross country & Track for three of those four. In 2013 I placed 3rd at conference and 6th at sections for track, with a time of 10:09 in the 3200. For Cross country I placed 16th at conference, 3rd at Sections, and with that making it as an individual and also as a team to state. At State my team was able to get 8th, while I was able to get 15th out of the teams, and 22nd out of everyone running the State A meet. Running a time of 16:54. I was also given the very first "Athlete of the Week" Award in the newspaper for the 2013-2014 School year.
