Personal Statement

My dream and goal is to run Division 1 Track at a University with an outstanding academic reputation in Business Administration, Law or Medicine.  I aspire to follow in my mother's footsteps as a 4 Year Division 1 Track competitor with hopes of making it to the Olympic Trials and NCAA finals (as she did).  I am a team oriented and very "Humble and Hungry" individual who works hard in practice and runs with pure heart and determination as a fierce competitor who will "die trying" not to get beat in a race.  I hope you will see these characteristics in my Sophomore Year Division 1, 5-A State Championship videos, where our team won the 2012 State Championship and I was blessed to be the High Point Scorer for the team as a Sophomore.  My Junior year was frustrating, as I suffered from an acute case of Achilles Tendonitis which severely hampered my ability to properly train, condition and run.  However, I am well on my way to full recovery with an aggressive PT program and feel very confident that I will come back with a vengeance and excel my Senior year and at the collegiate level.  Finally, I wish to be a part of a team that is a close-knit group of good people along with great coaches who genuinely care about the well-being of their Student/Athletes.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
