Darius Webb '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Darius Webb. I am from the city that is the birthplace of basketball, Springfield, Ma , but have fallen in love with the sport of track and field. Ever since I was six I have wanted to succeed in life. While growing up I could not wait for my first High School season in track. During that season I made the 4x1 team but had an unfortunate finish at the Western Mass Championships. The following year I competed in the 100m at the Western Mass Championships and was one spot away from states. What makes me different from other candidates is that when I take a loss I actually work harder and show the people why I should not have lost. I am a winner, not a sore winner, but a inspirational winner. I am also well rounded in other sports such as basketball, swimming, tennis, and soccer. Right now I am a B+ student but plan on getting to an A student my Junior year.
