Personal Statement

My goal is to find a college with great academics and a strong track team with good coaching. I want to improve my athletic abilities while also receiving a solid education. I plan to study something in science while I throw shot put. I'll thrive at any program because I work hard everyday in all aspects of my life. Currently I wake up early every morning to work out before school starts. Then, I put my best work forward in all of my classes and put the same effort into sports. This shows my commitment to both my studies and athletics.   I believe I can make a positive contribution to the college I choose to attend in and outside of the classroom. Furthermore, I am different from other recruits because of my leadership skills. I have learned how to develop these innate leadership characteristics  from my time at summer camp and rising through the ranks of Boy Scouts. These qualities allow me teach fellow athletes and help motivate people who need it.  I would be able to contribute in ways some people cannot because of these skills.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
