As a college runner I have very high goals as I always have had. I hope to run well under 1:50 in the 800 and I am willing to do all the work necessary to get there. I also hope to make it to NCAA Championship for an open event at some point in my college career. Throughout my high school career I have prided myself primarily on my hard work and dedication to the sport to get where I am today. Coaches have often told me that although I am not always the fastest runner on the track, I am always the toughest. Many coaches have also told me that I am very coachable, because I am willing to do whatever they ask of me. On my team I always look forward to seeing kids achieve their goals, so I do my best to encourage them and be a leader on my team. Outside of track I work hard in school, and I am focused on being a successful student athlete and my grades have shown that. I also played soccer for a number of years and was on the 2014 U-16 National Championship team Baltimore Celtic before quitting soccer to pursue track. I also have a lot of interest in music and I am in a band called The Hollow Party where I have played at various venues around baltimore and on the Vans Warped Tour. I am a well rounded person who has multiple interests, but no matter what I am involved in, I always give 100%.
