Chris Leby '16 Recruiting Profile

Track wasn’t always big in my life but now it is, and my goal is to run track on a college level. Every day at track practice I put in so much work because I know what I am there for. In school I work hard to get good grades, and stay on top of my game. I have a good attitude when it comes to school; I always want to challenge myself. One day I would like to become a dentist. Running track on a college level would be great because that would be a big accomplishment, because that means all of the hard work I did in school has paid off. In college I am going to work hard on and off the track, there are no days off. In school I am going to work hard also because school is very important. On any track team I try to be a leader and I encourage and motivate people to keep on going and not to quit. I like being a leader because I feel like I am helping people to do better and become better.
