Julian Hubbard '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Julian Michael Hubbard, I would like to get the chance to tell you a little bit about myself and why I would be a good fit for you're team.

I'm 6'2" and 155lb, my vertical is 32 inches (on tar) and I run a 5.2 second 40 yeard dash.

My High School career has gone from not much to presentable very quickly, I didnt do anything significant my freshman year, but sophmore year I made states in the Triple Jump and High Jump.
My junior year was when I started to catch on, I got 4th in the state in the Triple Jump, and went on to New Englands, seeded 25th but placed 14th in the Triple Jump. The qualities I could give to your team would be an lead-by-example attitude, I work very hard every practice and always give it my all, which makes up for my lack of vocal leadership. I always cheer on my teamates and try to make a positive atmosphere. You would never have to worry about my grades, I always put school before everything else.

I grew up in the very small town of Windsor ME, and I've always wanted to go see new places.My overall preference would be to stay in the New England area but I will go wherever I it takes to get the education I need. I'm pretty much open to most types of schools, D1, D2, ect.
My family is the regular middle class one, we arent rich but we aren't poor, but obviously any type of finacial aid or scholorships would be awesome! 
I've pretty much narrowed down the 3 majors I'm considering, I'm also an artist and love computers so..
1. Computer Science           
2. Media Arts
3. Game Design 

My realistic goals for college are to compete at the highest competition level I can, and to meet a few goals in my Jumping. But overall I really want to have fun and enjoy an extra 4 years on my track career, I love the sport and would love to be given a chance to be a college athlete, to travel, to make new friends, to furthur pursue my career to new hieghts and distances. Thats what I want most.
