I started running track in my freshmen year of high school and I really fell in love with competing with some of the best runners in my state. Because I wasn't the best my first year out , I quickly realized you needed patience and hard work to get to the top. Through dedication, discipline, and patience I have attained higher standings and reached many of my personal goals.... but I have more dreams and more hard work ahead of me.
I want to attend a college that will enable me to not only fulfill my athletic goals, but also provide me with the means to achieve academic success. I want to be a high school history teacher so I plan to pursue a degree in secondary education. I have a strong desire to compete but I want to be part of a team where I feel like I add value and I want to attend a school that I feel will add value to me.
