Benito Botaka '12 Recruiting Profile

My Name is Benito B. Botaka and I am a 5'9" Senior Varsity Starter (3 years) Track & Field Runner From Lexington, Kentucky. I Have ran Track and Field for my Middle and High School Teams for 5 years along with AAU Track & Field  for 3 years. I specialize in the Triple and Long Jump, having competed in the AAU Junior Olympic Games for the Triple Jump in 2010. I am the current Captain of Bryan Station's 2011-2012 Track Team, and have a "Mind-over-Matter" Work Ethic when it comes to Training. I wish to expand my love for Track & Field into a proffession one day, and to get there I plan to be an ethereal college student athlete.

I initially would like to go to a University or College institution near or within Kentucky since it correlates near my hometown, but I am interested in any school within the country that could benefit me in my sports career along with helping me achieve getting a degree in Business Administration and Information Technology. Financial Need is a crucial Factor as it would most benefit our financial situations with less out of pocket expenses.

I believe that with the potential I have and can manifest I will be able to compete at the highest level possible achievable for the University or College institution best suited for my skill. From the moment I am able to compete, I plan to bring great prestige to the team, and carry on the tradition of that college and it's excellence.
