Hi my name is Randy Hoang from Urbandale High School. This year I’ll be a senior and I’ll be searching for a college to run track for. I’m 5’6, weighting 140, and my PR from all my track season is 11.3 for the 100 meter dash and 23.78 for the 200 meter dash. This year I went to State for the 4x2 and the 16 medley sprint running as the first leg runner for Urbandale. Back in 2008 I went to national for 4x4, and got 1st at conference in the 100m, 4x1 and 4x2. I am a hard worker; I never give up on what I believe I can win for my team. It’s my dream to run track in college and I will give 110% of what I got or more to get there! I’m devoted to track because it’s my dream, my goal, my life. I will attend any college big or small that wants me to run for them. It would be great if I got a scholarship because my parents don’t have a lot of money to support my two little sisters and me. We live off every paycheck month by month trying to make every penny count. So I would appreciate if I got a Scholarship. I want to major in computer engineering or business. My dream is to run in the Olympic one day to show to my parents that a dream can come true if you chase it down and don’t wait around. So please coach if you give me this chance to run for your school, coach I will make you proud!
