Personal Statement
I am very passionate about sports and my desire is to attain a professional sprinting career. I am very athletic and have great determination to be the best in sprinting. My current time for 100 meters is 11.2 and 200 meters is 22.73.
I was born and raised in Ontario Canada and know that United States offers great track programs for me to excel in. I am seeking a College/University that is an excellent school and well as having a great track and field program. My academic goal is to excel in the medical field.
I have been involved with many sports throughout my youth with a main sport being soccer and my biggest attribute was being the fastest soccer player in highest provincial league level. Since the fall of last year, and watching the Olympics unfold, I realized my sprinting time was comparable or faster than the provincial level, and started immediately in sprinting competitions at the provincial level and at the high school varsity level. I am very physically fit and have a great work ethic. I train daily and have a very nutritious diet plan.
I belong to the Woodstock Legion Athletic Club and am personally trained by my coach Duen Daley. Coach Duen was originally from Jamaica and a professional Olympian trainer for sprinting in Jamaica. We are currently working towards the Canada Summer Games and subsequent Nationals this summer in Winnipeg, Canada.
My goal also is to have an awesome school that offers a great scholarship program.
I am very self-motivated and know I can attain my dream of being the fastest sprinter and look forward to hearing from you.
