I am currently a senior at Concord High School who is planning to attend college in the Fall semester of 2012 to begin my studies in the area of Secondary Education.I plan on graduating with a Master's degree in Secondary Education, so that I may fufill my dreams of becoming a high school teacher, in order to give back to my community, and society as well. I hope that in my pursuit, I can change some of the flaws that exist within the educational system today, in order to make it a much more inviting part of life for many teens and young adults. I also hope, that in becoming a teacher, I can be a role model for many young at-risk African-American students, and encourage them to do better in the classroom setting. In all, I hope to simply improve the human condition, and I believe that this can firstly be achieved by educating the future, which is the youth of our nation.
