Personal Statement
My name is Brian Young and I will be a graduate from Bedford, Indiana in 2013. I have ran track since I was 12 years old and it is my dream to continue to do so in college. This past season I ran the first leg of our varsity 4X800 team and we made it all the way to state(the first relay team from our school to ever make it to the state finals). I have a 3.6 GPA and am enrolled in many honors and AP courses including: AP Psychology, Spanish III, Pre Calculus, AP U.S. History, AP Human Geography, AP environmental science and plan on more for my senior year. I would like to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the track. My family has financial need but I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match.
