Personal Statement

Hello, my name is Sam Bradley and I am now a junior (2017) at Angola High School. I just finished a very successful track season, running PRs of 4:30 in the 1600, 1:59.8 in the 800, and as well as a 1:59 split in a 4x800MR. I have set myself some goals for the rest my High School career and the beginning of college. My ultimate goal is to receive a college scholarship to run XC/Track. I have also set separate goals for myself, which have to do with my high school career. My first separate goal is to be a state champion in the state of Indiana, I have committed myself to do whatever I can to make that happen. I like to dream big and work hard to chase after my dreams.
Academics always come first for me because they are the most important thing in High School, along with personal development. I really focus and take the classroom seriously. My studies are starting to pay off as I received a 3.9/4.0 GPA my freshman year, I also was top 10 percent in my class; ranked 18/190. Growing up I was raised to always have good grades in school. I am proud of my successes and plan on continuing them. What makes me different is i will never be a liability when it comes to academics and I am also a good role model for younger kids. I enjoy helping others that need it and volunteering throughout my community.
Thank you for your time reading this! Hope we can talk business!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
