Jordon Wallin '14 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I am a middle and long distance runner from Meridian, Idaho.  I run for Rocky Mountain High School and will be graduating in the year 2014. I've been a Varsity XC & Track athlete throughout my high school career.  As a Freshman, Sophomore & Junior our Boys track team won 5A State Titles -  Back to Back to Back - 2011, 2012 & 2013.  Also my Junior XC season our team won 5A State Title.

This indoor season I was the runner up at 800m in the Simplot Games, I competed at the New Balance Indoor Nationals finishing 2nd in my heat running an indoor PR of 1:54.7.

I am the Back to Back District Champion in the 800m, winning my sophomore and junior year, with a time of 1:51.8 this year; at State in May my 4x800m team broke the State record finishing with a 7:41.  I anchored our 4x400m team winning by .06 and splitting a 47.9. 

I am the 2013 Border Duel 800m Champion and set a new PR in the 400m running 49.6 placing 3rd.  I also ran at New Balance Outdoor Nationals, I placed 9th overall in the EE mile with a PR of 4:19 and placed 8th overall in the Championship 800m with a time of 1:52.1. 

Cross Country season is about half done, we are on our way to Nike Pre Nationals this weekend in Portland.   I am very excited and I am hoping to help our team repeat as the 2013 5A State Champions.

I have worked hard in school -  3.83 GPA, AP and honors classes & help with local community service projects.
